Just because something has yet to exist, does not mean that it is - TopicsExpress

Just because something has yet to exist, does not mean that it is impossible. We can evolve into a more moral species. It is not inevitable that we will evolve to function more morally as a species, but it is possible. In fact, it should be our mission to do so. Democide is murder by government. In the past two centuries, more people have been murdered by government than by any other group of people. Consequences for immoral behavior are inescapable. Just because there is no government, does not mean that there are no consequences. In fact, governments shield the most immoral individuals among us from their natural consequences and regularly serve immoral consequences to non-violent individuals. Without the standing army of order-following statists to protect them, the psychopaths of this world would be mental patients instead of the heads of state, finance, and banking. Many confuse controlled chaos with true order. When dominators use violence to maintain “order”, they are actually maintaining a level of controlled chaos. Natural chaos, on the other hand, is a teacher. We learn how to live more morally and prosper more effectively from the suffering caused by the natural chaos in a society and in our environment. This natural consequence of human behavior is diverted in a society that lives under the “order” of controlled chaos. When our thoughts come from the framework of Love and we have dominion over our emotions (meaning that no outside source has control over our emotions), our individual behavior is based in freedom. The more people in a society who exercise this balanced level of consciousness in their life, the more order there will be. Conversely, when our thoughts come from the framework of Fear and we have conflicting and confusing emotions (meaning that we do not have dominion over our emotions and are being controlled by an outside source), our individual behavior is controlling, and potentially violent. The more people in a society who exercise this imbalanced level of consciousness in their life, the more chaos there will be. The Law of Freedom Freedom and Morality are directly proportional. As Morality increases, Freedom increases. As Morality declines, Freedom declines. Another way of stating this Law would be to say that the presence of Truth and Morality in the lives of the people of any given society is inversely proportional to the presence of Tyranny and Slavery in that society. True Freedom can never exist in a society that embraces moral relativism (the idea that there is no inherent and objective difference between Right and Wrong, so humanity may arbitrarily “create” or “decide” Right and Wrong for themselves).” -Mark Passio
