Just been to Layong around 5pm. Water has receded somewhat but still erratic. Those whose houses have been affected are doing clean ups but still unsure if the flooding will reoccur. At least one area has been hit twice : water receded so the owner did the cleanup .... only to be hit again by rising flood waters a second time. Some villagers are somewhat upset that food supplies were stopped automatically once water has receded from their houses. Maybe the government and those giving aid should reconsider the point where aid is stopped as residents may not be able to be self sufficient for a while since kitchens, toilets and basic amenities are bound to be problematic post flooding.
