Just been to see #GuardiansoftheGalaxy and I thought it was excellent, the usual mix of Marvel humour, schmaltz and action - probably a bit more humour than some of the single Marvel characters movies, but the riffing that Marvel do so well is all there to see. It is an origin story, so there is that bit, as with all Marvel franchises, where you get the set up. But that is handled well before you tuck into the main course. The film nods to so many films it could have been in danger of getting dizzy, but it is handled with aplomb. And last, but by no means least, the soundtrack - one word AWESOME!
