Just been to the Crem to lay flowers only to find the rememberence wall has been totally fenced off and you cannot get to the vases. It is apparently for maintenence. I know that maintenence is needed but to fence the whole area in such a sensitive locataion in nothing more than insesitive and uncaring. Surely this could have been done in two phases ane side at a time? Perhaps as no work is going on at the weekend the fence could have been moved back? Perhaps the most obvious solution would have been to move the vases outside the fence or provide facilities for relatives to place place flowers in temporary recpticals? It appears the council are now riding roughshod over the most vulnerable in society, Those grieving for and wanting tro remember a loved one! Sorry for rant but Im livid as were other people up there.
