Just before the feeling of sleep began to take hold I closed my eyes and envisioned a hallway, a door at the end shut closed at first but as I looked harder the door opened. Darkness poured from the door and a set of eyes stared into mine from the shadows. It gripped me, mentally and physically, soon I felt a force begin to pull me in. Hands of black grime and muck reached for me as I neared the door and just as I was about to dragged into utter darkness i woke up. The clock read 3:03 three minutes went by since I closed my eyes. What was in the shadows? Who? Why now when my mind was at peace? I did not intend to dream of anything at all, yet now I can not sleep. Its been over an hour now and only now I can put into words what i really saw. Whatever it may be whatever the cause my mind is no longer at rest....................
