Just briefly checking to let you guys know were still kickin. Its been a really rough two weeks and hopefully were on the upswing. The last treatment hit really hard. It sucks. Were doing the best we can with the shitty hand we got dealt. My brothers and my boyfriend have been my saving grace, especially the last 3 days. Mom got sick on Sunday and I ended up taking her to the ER with a pretty severe case of pancreatitis. Turns out she had a gallstone stuck. She had to have surgery yesterday and is still in the hospital but feeling better and were hoping she can come home tomorrow. Ive become more grateful than ever for the amazing role models my parents are. They taught us at a very young age how important family is and that when the shit hits the fan you can ALWAYS count on them you help you through. Between Aaron and Rhianna, AL and Chris, we have all come together as a family to make sure that there was always someone with mom and dad throughout this whole ordeal. We take a Nobody gets left alone! approach to someone being sick and I am forever thankful for that. Long story short, waaaay too late, were all hanging in there. They say when it rains, it pours. Ill tell ya what, were gonna need a bigger umbrella pretty soon. Ps. Sarah Nowakowski, please tell Pat that the pie she dropped off was pretty awesome. Dad loved it!!!
