In addition to what is stated in his nomination, I think it is important to note that he has also deployed to war zones 4 times in his military career and continues to serve in the U.S. Army. He lost his closest friend in battle and missed countless birthdays, anniversaries, family weddings, and the opportunity to truly watch his children grow to defend us and allow those of us who do not serve to enjoy all the things he sacrificed without worry or fear. He and his family have truly dedicated their lives and sacrificed much to ensure we all sleep well at night. Thank you Chuck and all that serve for everything that you and your families have done and continue to do for our country! Chuck will be retiring soon and is very worried about the transition. With all that he has done for our country this should be the least of his concerns. I know that that the Tommie Copper #LivePositive good deed will not be wasted on him and it will be paid forward.
