Just called the S-T for some archive photo assistance. Was looking for photos of old Hemphill Wells Christmas windows to go with a story by Mary Rogers for the Star-Telegram. I was greeted by a recording, not the friendly voice of Jo Boulter. I listened to the prompts, which seemed to be all about advertising until the option for Editorial came up at No. 6! I opted for the operator, who said there is no librarian and no public access to the morgue. I had her patch me over to the ME desk, but no one answered. Have I really been gone that long? What happened?
