Just came across a VERY cool little list for those who, like me, pay attention to power to weight ratios. This list contains stats for, literally, hundreds of old and new cars sorted by their horsepower per ton. So, if you know how many hp/ton your ride pushes, take a look to see where your car stands. Extra credit: Post up your hp/ton along with what cars are directly above and below yours. If you dont know the formula to figure out your ratio, here it is (or if youre REALLY lazy follow the link below to use calculator): [YOUR CAR WEIGHT]/2000= [ANS X] [YOUR CAR HP]/[ANS X]= HP/TON Hp/ton calculators: autosnout/Calculate/calculate-bhp-per-ton.php My car makes 106.34 hp/ton. That puts me in between the 1987 Ford Thunderbird 2.3 Turbo (106.6) and the 1986 Ford Grenada Scorpio 4x4 2.8 V6 (106.3). Kinda cool, I guess.
