Just came back from an advanced screening of Edge of Tomorrow, 3D in Imax. First off, well worth seeing this in the 3D/IMAX combo if you can. This is a BIG movie in every sense of the world and a very visceral action flick. Second: this movie is absolutely outstanding! Pretty much perfect on every level, I cant really think of any flaws. Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt make for a dynamic duo. They are really enjoyable to watch together on screen. This is one of those films where you cant really say anything about the plot without spoiling it. The trailers really (and thankfully) only scratch the surface of what the plot is about. How they handle the Groundhogs Day plot mechanism is absolutely brilliant and probably the most clever use of it Ive seen. Highly recommended.
