Just came back from the supermarket. I went there to buy a couple of Haagen Dazs pints, some Budweiser bottles and a box of Ferrero Rocher. Then I went to the cashier, and there was a middle-aged woman in front of me. She was poorly dressed and only had a box of eggs and a small bacon pack on her. She took a few coins out of her pocket and handed them to the cashier. The guy said that it wasnt enough, she got all embarrassed and started looking for more money in her pocket, but had none and said she was going through a rough time and stuff. She only bought the bacon at the end. I came home thinking about this. I mean, I would trivially spend 50 bucks on things to eat in one night, while that woman didnt have 5 to pay for her breakfest.
