Just cant help sharing this list of the 10 greatest small forwards in history by DIME Magazines Josh Eberley, which names, correctly Id say, Larry Bird over LeBron James for that distinction. Just shows to me heres a sports chronicler whos not drowned by the hype and currency of the current generation of fans - and sportswriters, too, Id say - who are overcome by the superior athleticism of todays generation of players and choose, in effect, form over substance. The video of Larry Legend attached just provides glimpses of how great a player and thinker this guy was, and gives one the notion that his greatness should thus not be forgotten even in the wave of todays dazzling plays and spectacular dunks.
