Just cant win...massive migraine keeps me out of work for 2 days sick to my stomach. Go to the doctors this morning and have to deal with a nurse practitioner who I have only met once before because my regular np left the practice. He was pretty good though and sent over my prescription, and called in the formulary exception I needed for the insurance to pay for it. Damned pharmacy doesnt carry it and has to order it. Wont be here for 3 days. Pharmacy tried to fill it for one dose at $35 insisting that is all my insurance will pay for no matter how the doctor writes the prescription. Told her I have been on this before and my insurance pays for 4 doses. She tried it again after I insisted that she check again (took some arguing and an escalation of my migraine) and it accepted it for 4 doses at $35 total. What a fricken racket!!
