Just caught a National Geographic segment about the Japanese Water - TopicsExpress

Just caught a National Geographic segment about the Japanese Water Spider, AKA diving bell spider (argyroneta aquatica), which spends its entire life underwater; not by having developed gills over time, but by continuously surfacing to inhale, then creating miniature diving air bubbles for oxygen- the same places where prey, as in FISH(!?!?), are placed so the spiders toxin can take full, quicker effect, as opposed to being diluted by water if the prey were left suspended there...Spooky, YES!!! But, daaaaaaamn, nature, and your proficient killing machines, you done gots Craig Jackson again. What next?!?
