Just checking hoping someone will know. If you have a homested way in country but there is a rent house next door and neighbors are starting to complain about your free range chickens are you required to coop them? the older man that lived there usually nice but his dogs started getting out and killing chickens. Had to tell him wed have to shoot them if they kept kill the birds. His very rude 14yr old granddaughter just came over yelling out rooster was in their front yard and would attack their dogs and then them and they werent going to have that and stormed off. As she did I told her she was welcome to chance or shoe him. O hate these kind of issues. I dont complain about her cat that comes over everyday when I feed ours just loose dogs that kill stuff. And the older gentlemen wasnt home so I will go talk to him this evening when I see him. What is the RIGHT thing to do. Now have to coop my free range chickens. The rooster has gotten mean since the last attack that almost defeathered him maybe 50%.
