... Just coming back from the prestigious Festival YA SALAM and its succesful 13th. Edition. I really want to thank its stunning Manager & General Producer: Nuriyya Hanem, who is also one of the most renowned Oriental Dance masters in the world. I also want to thank its amazing Production Team: a perfect organization in a warmy enviroment. There were so many beautiful moments in Belgium. For example, I really enjoyed the Graduation Concert where the students danced the great Dr. Hassan Khalils choreographies... (Bravo !!)... The open stage was so amazing starred by marvelous dancers from different countries. The other teachers and artists who I meet were great as artists and human beings (non stop laughs sometimes...), I finally met Penny Walters Bazaar who brought the best of the best. And the most significant moment was being part of the International show directed by the living legend and Master of masters, Prof. Dr. Hassan Khalil. Its a real treassure from Heaven to be directed by the greatest of Oriental Dances... I would like to thank the risky participants of my Oriental Flamenco... Real Oriental Flamenco its a new style who many people love but even many experience dancers sometimes are afraid to learn deeply... Its so so so complex with sofisticated techniques. Usually it takes many hours to get the secret or manage certain techiniques and show a natural and secure expression while dancing... Well, I would like to thank and open my heart to those ones who just in a short time got the 3 main secrets, part of its technique and follow the choreography easily, They did it very well !!... A special thanks for having one of the Belly Dance Stars in the world doing it: Dorit Arobas, now my sister-in-art who in just little time caught everything and put in inside, expressing a real Gypsy Flamenco character and its special kind of beauty. My jaw was dropped not only when I saw her dancing at the Theatre but also when I saw her dancing Oriental Flamenco in the workshop. I understand why she is one of the best of the world of Sharky.... And, finally, the Jewel of the Crown: Dr. HASSAN KHALILs wonderful Master Lecture for Choreographers (in general); however, he applied the Oriental Flamenco character examples for high level choreographies and gave us a lot of its foundation. Then, he explained the foundations in choreography for Egyptian dance. His lecture/symposium is HIGHT KARATS GOLD. Congratulations, YA SALAM.
