Just curious. I travelled to many places and stayed in numerous hotels. From the biggest to the backpackers places. Hotels in Bali always plays Gamelan back ground music in their public places. In many other countries too, they have traditional or ethnic background music. But not in Malaysia. Why? The hotel industry in Malaysia thinks that our traditional or ethnic music is not good enough? Or there are no respect to the traditional music in this country?
