Just curious about opinions out there if you have some. How do you feel about the US being one of the only few countries which has not moved to the metric system? We had a road trip to Canada. After we crossed the border at Detroit, the road signs started showing in Kilometers. Is not that inconvenient that the most advanced country in the world differentiates herself from the rest of the world in this regard? Or would it be better for the world keeping some diversity rather than seeing a unity with no exception? There may be some reasons or deeply rooted origins where English/Imperial system came out of. It may be just that I do not know the background.
