Just did my first public performance with TAPAS Choir tonight. No glasses broken, no outrageous out of tuning things. Came in on note 98 per cent of the time. Managed those tricky alto harmonies that seem so strange but that do work. Hit the soprano notes with gusto and no screeching. It was terrifying and exhilarating and do want to do it again. Thanks to Jane young for all her support. Might actually let someone who knows me come and listen another time. Except my husband as it would seem he would rather be cast naked into a vat of boiling pitch - as my dad used to say if something seemed too yawn making for words! Yes, he is in the dog house for TOTAL lack of support! Will I regret sharing this ? NO.
