Just doing his civic duty - some scenes from City Hall as Rich Gorodesky of Colliers Industrial Group spoke at a hearing today before City Council called in order to glean intelligence on how to create, promote, and incentivize preservation of the city’s industrial land so Philadelphia is well positioned to capitalize on the nationwide resurgence in American manufacturing. Rich provided compelling statistics about the growing demand for industrial space, citing a number of companies that have expanded, relocated and chosen to stay right here in Philadelphia. The meeting was attended by Representatives from Mayor Nutters office Michael Cooper, Director of Manufacturing and Industry, and Alan Greenberger, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and was led by William Greenlee and Bobby Henon.
