Just doing my part to spread awareness. I wasnt great at applying these - need more practice but heres what they mean. Left hand: A pic of my friendly, neighborhood diabetic, Trialnet is the research studies she has donated her time and body to for the past 7 1/2 years, Blue circle is for World Diabetes Day on Nov. 14, Shots is her diabetic alert service dog, and on my pinky is her diagnosis date or D-day, February 13, 2007. Right hand: 3 more World Diabetes Day logos, The Type 1 awareness ribbon, and on my pinky is a copy of one of my daughters t-shirt designs that says Ive got friends with low sugars. Dont forget to wear blue on Friday to help spread awareness, too.
