Just drove through some hellacious traffic & dropped off some dinner at the Sabeans....chicken & rice casserole and a snickered apples supreme for dessert. I visited for a few minutes with Jade, her siblings, and their babysitter Sam Sullen. Crossroads Baptist has set up a meal servicing plan on TakeThemAMeal. For more information on how you can be a blessing with food in this difficult time for the Sabeans as little Jade continues treatments for her lymphoblastic leukemia, contact Amanda Kumher at (239)464-5272. Ill plan for more driving time when I am on the schedule again in two weeks. Fort Myers traffic makes me feel like I never left Chicago. LOL! On a more serious note, please continue to hold Jeff & Beckey Sabean, sweet little Jade, and their family up in prayer. This is a long hard process they are going through. Having been the caregiver and husband of my late wife Peggy through fifteen months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments during her battle with stage four leiomyosarcoma cancer and having been the person who spent by her bedside all the nights she was hospitalized throughout that time, I can relate. But I will say this. When its a child facing these things, it must be even more challenging sometimes. So lets all keep loving on them.
