Just eleven days left to get those votes in for the small business grant consideration. Were up to almost 100 votes though, so keep up the great work Daybreakers. I just love this place, despite the grueling hours. To the observer, I seem might touch irritable (just a touch) during the madness, but, its mostly concentration, focusing on the immediate needs of our guests. They are, after all, the reason we do what we do. The fast pace and show at the grill, are what I really enjoy. A few folks from Vermont took pictures and videotaped some of the kitchen action on Saturday. Talk about pressure, I ate it up. Again, I have to plug the Mission Main Street Grant program. It gives the little guy (pun intended), a chance to do good things. Our main goal, is to repay Al and Marge for their contribution . Contribution, is an extreme understatement. Their generosity has exceeded six digits and Al has spent thousands of hours working his 76 year-old body to a frazzle. Marge is dealing with major medical issues, for the second time around. I just dont want folks to get the impression Im being greedy. Its really not all about me, as some might think.
