Just finished a 2,800 mile road trip digging for antiques and making other peoples junk our junk. Here are some observations....every small town in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi has at at least one Mexican restaurant.......all contemporary Country music sounds the same.....Northwest Arkansas may be the most beautiful part of the country....all contemporary Christian music sounds the same.....if only drive on the Interstate youre missing what America is all about.....everyone should drive a stretch of Route 66 at least once.....there are more oldies radio stations than ones that play new music....Ive never driven through Mississippi when it didnt rain.....anyone can get a late night radio show in Tennessee and preach their version of the gospel, including ventriloquists.......people in the South look you in the eye and tell you exactly what they think, politically correct or not.......most small towns close on Sunday......if you are looking for good food ask the locals, NOT Yelp...........I apparently still resemble Gregg Allman.....every Truck Stop in Louisiana has a Casino the size of my living room.....and a Country boy can survive.
