Just finished a 3 hour phone call with my grandparents...something that has NEVER, and I mean never, happened before. Brought in the Sabbath (East Coast time) with them, and it was just one of those little things you never knew you missed until you got the chance to experience it again. Back home, I would dread leaving my room to go and pray every friday, but as the time crept closer and closer to sunset, I actually found myself hoping that they wouldnt hang up. Its as if I were back home curled up in the recliner. I could picture my grandfather sitting at the computer desk, and my grandmother by the couch. 3ABN on the TV every sabbath, like clockwork (-_-). Being away really puts certain things into perspective. Sigh, FIVE more months...
