Just finished an epic solo run. Seven Summits of Desolation Wilderness. Got the route and idea from Leor Pantilat (he did it last summer). It took me 1.5 hours to summit Pyramid peak in 5 miles. The next 4 summits took 7 miles in 3.5 hours all off trail. It definitely took me out of my comfort zone while scrambling off trail. I started at 6:12 am and finished at 4:20 pm for the 31 mile loop with over 11,000 ft of gain. Running time was just under 9 hours. The other hour or more was picture taking and map reading and route planning.
