Just finished my first full month of counting calories using MyFitnessPal. Its tedious and a bit time consuming but I am getting results. Ive lost 6.5 pounds in my first full month and exceeded my programmed goal of losing 4 pounds per month. Lots of activity has been key for me (weights, running, longboarding, motorcycle riding), healthy food choices with portion control and adequate sleep are the main areas Ive focused on. So far, with all the activities and calorie counting, my measurements are only shrinking in my stomach/waist area, which means Im maintaining my muscle mass everywhere else and on my way to hopefully getting my 6-pack abs back in time for Hawaii this fall ... myfitnesspal/
