Just finished reading GRAIN BRAIN and even though I know there are many skeptics about gluten and carb sensitivity, Im compelled by his arguments. As I count down to my 45th (?!!) birthday, I have decided to be the human guinea pig and take on his 4-week gluten-free low-carb diet and start with the recommended first day fast next Sunday. There are a lot of sophisticated and swell-sounding recipes in the book and Im determined to make this a gourmands health choice vs. a deprivation dirge.
