Just finished testing an interesting new version of my Time-Volume Training...this involves something that resembles wave loading. If youre familiar with the base method, instead of doing 3 rep sets all the way through, try doing 1 rep then rest 10 seconds then 2 reps, then rest 10 seconds, then 3 reps, then rest 10 seconds, then back to 1 rep. etc. repeating the 1-2-3 pattern all the way through. I found it really effective for staying at a heavier weight for a longer period of time, and increasing overall volume at that load. Going to try 3-2-1 next time and see if that makes a difference. Maybe 1-2-3-2-1 as well. If you give it a try and test it out, let me know how you like it.
