Just finished watching The Passion..If ever a man was inspired it was Mel Gibson. I was groaning and shouting out in the lounge as they whipped and beat my Saviour; and then when then nailed Him to the cross...the neighbours must have heard the shout that went up from me. This was no sanitised event, done in a corner; this was brutal and barbaric. The law stood by in the form of the Scribes and Pharisees as He, who knew no sin became sin for us, and bore the whole weight of the laws judgement, and the Fathers judgement for the sins of the whole world, those committed to the point of His crucifixion which atoned for those who believed on Him before He came those that had been committed by those who believed on Him during His earthly life and then, wonder of wonders, we find that ALL the sins committed from then on were laid on Him as well as our sicknesses. It was no wonder that He cried Elohim Elohim, Lama sabachthani His Father could no longer look upon what His Son had become. Why? Because God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Thank You Father.....thank You Yeshua and thank You Holy Spirit for the revelation of these things to us.
