Just finished watching one of the best films of all time, ARTHUR. Not the recent remake with Russell Brand, but rather the ORIGINAL with Dudley Moore and Sir John Gielgund. This reminded me of simpler times sitting in the cinema with one of the greatest guys it has ever been my pleasure to know, Mr. Sheldon Buck. I remember sitting in the Cineplex in Ogden and laughing ourselves silly. Thanks for the great memories, my friend. With the recent news of Sylvester Stallone endorsing ROCKY as a Broadway musical, it struck me that THIS would be a GREAT book for a musical if the tunes were handled correctly. You cannot go wrong with good material. Neil Diamonds The Jazz Singer would likely do equally well...........if any aspiring writers are reading.
