Just for Linda>>> My peach cobbler recipe,which is the best..lol 3 c sliced peaches,,the rest of the ingredients are eyeballed,sugar to taste, couple healthy sprinkles of cinnamon or more,a TINY pinch of nutmeg,1 capfull of vanilla extract,and cornstarch to thicken,prob bout a tablesoon and half. place in a 9by 9 baking dish Crust> 1&1/2 c flour-1/2c shortening-1T sugar-1/2t salt-1 t baking powder.mix dry ingredients... cut in shortening,add 1/2c milk or a little more.want the dough to be stiff... turn out on a floured surface and work it till its no longer sticky.. pat out by hand to a size that will fit over the top of the 9by9 baking dish..place dough on top of the peaches,bake at 450 for 10 mins,turn down to 350 and bake for another 25 mins
