Just for fun....some cat photos. All of these were taken up in Elko County near Wildhorse. I didnt take them but were taken by friends of mine. There are a lot of cats up there..I mean a lot. When I lived up there, I used to have cat tracks in my yard! There was an old Tom who was living in the bushes along the creek above the settlement. He was probably too old to hunt any longer and was now an opportunist. If he could find a local house cat or stray dog...dinner. That was why he was cruising the subdivision at night. Cats, in their prime, are hell on the deer population, especially if there is an abundance of cats. In the spring, they tend to pick on the sheep herds with new lambs. They like to teach their young to hunt and have killed over 50 in a night...just for the sport of it. Over the next several days, I am going to reach into my archives and talk about a trip I took to Silver Peak NV about 18 months ago. I think you will like it.
