Just for my FB friends who might be interested in this, I googled it. Its very significant to our Jewish friends. 1. Bitter herbs: symbolizing the slavery in ancient Egypt. 2. Charoset: a sweet, brown paste of fruit and nuts symbolizing the mortar used by the Jewish slaves to build storehouses in Egypt. 3. Karpas: a vegetable other than the bitter herbs, usually parsley or celery or cooked potato, which is dipped in salt water or vinegar, symbolizing the salty tears of the Israelite slaves. 4. Zeroa: a roasted lamb or goat bone symbolizing a lamb offered in the Temple in Jerusalem that was eaten on Seder night. 5. Beizah: a hard boiled egg symbolizing the Korban chagigah sacrifice offered in the Temple in Jerusalem and eaten as part of the Seder meal. 6. A stack of 3 matzo tis placed on its own plate with the Seder meal. Just thought this was interesting for us Christians. Hope Google had it right, if not, I apologize.
