Just for the fun of it I sent this email to HG TV. I think a Dwellings TV show would be awesome. To whom it may concern; I am the founder and director of Dwellings. Dwellings is a charity that is committed to building homes and changing lives by providing shelter and hope for recipient families as well as a life changing experience for those involved in the building process. Here is the website: dwellingsnow I have the most interesting and fulfilling job that I think people would enjoy watching as a reality show. I build homes for poor families in Mexico and Roatan, Honduras. Each recipient family has a compelling story. The people that are involved in financing and building the homes have amazing experiences. The various aspects of cross cultural issues, locations and details of each build, and the characters that I interact with would make great story lines. In the end the home that is presented to the family makes a significant difference in their lives. Then there is the ongoing stories of the lives of people that have received homes. Amazing stuff! I think the reality show crowd is ready for something more interesting, compelling and cross cultural. The combination of interesting story lines, opportunity to educate others about how families live and where they live, and the impact we can make as we share our resources would be the kind of thing people would find interesting. I would love to discuss the possibilities of working together on this type of show.
