Just for the record, I love Mom and Pop spots, especially BBQ spots. I grew up eating BBQ at Hammys in Lugoff-Elgin and I ate a lot of it and I loved it. I eat at Docs BBQ Buffet on Shop Rd every chance I get and I love it every-time. Its all a little different and thats why its good in my book. We are trying to appeal to a demographic that is looking for traditional BBQ with a twist on both food and ambiance. All BBQ is good BBQ on any road, mom and pop shop, or a big chain, but especially if its mom and pop or family in the kitchen, locally owned, even better if its buffet and especially if its anywhere close to home or far away. You cant go wrong with BBQ any shape, form or fashion.
