Just for the record someone said GYIP cant do the amount of work they used to due to a lack of staff. Dont know where that came from as GYIP are providing more services to the Govan Community than ever before. Tomorrow I meet with Elderpark Housing Association to make an agreement to start a youth club in Elderpark Centre on a Saturday evening. It seems the more we do the less credit we get from some people but you out there know better and need to support services to our children. National News announce on TV that we are among the highest for reported Child Poverty in Scotland and Glasgow yet funding cuts are coming to people who work hard to look after children. We all need to fight against these cuts or lose service to our children.
