Just for your information, a person by the name of Jr Goodmodou has been chatting me up, and just recently asked for money for medicine for his sick mother. He is from Gambia, West Africa, and said the only way he could receive money was through Western Union. I was going to send him some help, as many people have been generous enough to help with Elianes medication, and just wondered about him. I checked with some of my Facebook friends who he was also friends with, and its pretty obvious that he is a scammer, telling different stories to different people, and not really legit. Once I gave him the impression that I would send him some help, he ramped up the messages, and asked me daily if I had sent it yet, etc. If he is your friend, and youre wondering about him, just unfriend him, and let it go. Its plain to me now that he is just working Facebook to get good hearted people to send him money. I didnt know him, and the only reason I friended him in the first place was because I saw that he was friends with some of my friends on Facebook. I tried to glean more info, but his pictures and info on his page are sketchy, and not informative at all. Sorry for the long post, but just wanted to throw it out there in case some of you are experiencing the same thing.
