Just found the information about this pin my grandfather, Lloyd Walsh, got 57years ago. It was for twenty five years of service with Canada Post. He got it in 1957. These Birks sterling silver pins were initiated in 1948...not sure how long they were issued though. My grandfather worked 40 years for Canada Post from 1932 right up until the year he died, 1972. He had Taken over the run from his father, Sampson, who also had a long career with the post office.
