Just found this email from DVSA Dear Miss Carter You have contacted the Agency over the return of your ADI certificate due to maternity leave. I have tried to call you but had difficulty getting through. I am sorry that you were removed from the register; this is an error which I have corrected. I believe that you returned your certificate without an explanation as to why; under these circumstances we take the view that you have resigned. I reverted your this status to live, and noted on our system that you are on maternity leave. I would be grateful if you would forwards proof of this to my colleague Denise Bingley who will then write to you and official confirm both receipt of your ADI certificate and medical evidence. I am sorry for any distress that has been caused. I have written quite a long letter to Denise and included a copy of the Email that i sent to them advising I was on maternity leave. The letter from the job centre with the date i started to claim maternity benefit that i attached to the email as proof. The letter from Denise advising me that she received the letter advising them I am on maternity and asking me to send my green badge in the envelope provided. A copy of the letter telling me they accept my resignation and have removed me from the ADI register. Ive told her how the agent on the phone said it was my fault for not including a cover letter to explain why i was sending my green badge so they ASSUMED i had resigned. I love how in this email the agent just has to hint again that its my fault for not including a cover letter! I also need to send more MEDICAL proof that Im on maternity leave. Im sending my daughters birth certificate and a couple of snaps. Wonder if this will be enough proof haha!
