Just getting home from a beautiful day of Umoja (Unity)! As usual family is your first teacher of most things & thankfully they love me in spite of me! When they saw I was feeling alone in my choice to celebrate Kwanzaa my family switched their plans and came to join me as Dr. Maulana Karenge brought this years message of Living the Principles of Kwanzaa. Thereafter another LOVEly evening with some beautiful spirits & souls thanks to connection through KP! Met back up with my Fam at Blue Whale where we heard AMAZING Jazz & I even got the 2 saxophonist to sing Sentimental Mood for me long after they were done :) Just getting home from a beautiful day of Umoja (Unity)!
