Just going to point this out. If you post for a gig and dont consider the Time Gas and Consider the fact that Holiday type Events are always more then dont get upset when people comment. Good or Bad Comments will be made. I dont always get positive feedback but Its ok. This way we all know who we will work with and who we wont. Plus why as as a Dj you defend a venue when the Venue itself doesnt value the worth and offer low prices. I tried working with another Dj and he offered less than the regular pay and I come to find out was he was trying to make money over me. If that was the case he could have said that and I would have kept that in mind. My final thought is simple. We as a Dj should set a Value to what we are worth and simply stick to it. Its not about Pride it is just common sense and business sense. Imagine 200 x 4 a month becomes 800? When a Wedding can make you 800 in one night. Just trying to open up some eyes. Sometimes when we help a venue, they still dont appreciate it. So really let the Venue search and negotiate whenever necessary. Nothing personal here fellas just again explaining the Most sensible thing to do.
