Just got a call from a gentleman in Waycross, GA challenging me to a debate with another layman about Christianity and Atheism. This will be toward the Fall. Apparently a guy in Athens passed my name on to him - odd how my name gets around. Anyway - its gonna be a while before this happens, but the gentleman that issued this challenge wants to create precisely the dialogue Ive been pushing for in my own community. Its good to know that there are people out there that appreciate the differences between us and our ideas without viewing our differences as an affront to another. I dont know why I cant find that here locally, but at least its somewhere out there.
