Just got a call from the girls school principal. But it wasnt anything they did. It was me! Lol, yesterday I got into an incident with another parent. Well, I presume she was a parent. She was driving about 40 mph in a 20 mph school zone crowded with minvans and Moms and little kids while on her cell phone. All illegal in Illinois. I was with Kara and it was just too dangerous. She pulls up into the No Parking area (because it as at a corner perpendicular to the grade school), and parks, of course. She exits her vehicle, still on the cell phone. I shouted to knock it off, that it was dangerous and there are parents and kids at risk. She starts to charge at me yelling profanity on how I should mind my business, blah, blah, blah. Im holding Karas hand and really thought she was going to assault me. I yelled to her that it was not a good idea and she better back off please and kept walking across the street to the school to pick up the twins as they were discharged. Basically looking to avoid her. A minute later she is charging at me again! In front of teachers and parents, cursing and its all about her and how I need to mind my bidness. She is really coming at me telling the person on the phone shes going to do this and that. I laughed in her face and told she really needed to stay away from me that I wasnt going to play around in front of my kids. I avoid her again. I walk the three girls back to the car and while waiting at the cross walk this maniac peels out then screeches to a halt and starts cursing out her window. Still on the cell phone! The Crossing Guard and a few parents start yelling at her for her profanities and he is the Guard is like. Youre in the Crosswalk! Hes a really good guy. Takes his job and the safety of the kids very seriously. So I just laugh at her face and she takes off. Thats the first time in 30 years the school principal needed to talk to me about an incident at school I was involved in! I was a bad boy! Lol, the principal said that is what she heard and wanted to know what happened. She was concerned about the dangerous driving and said she will be keeping her eye out. Some people might say, Just mind your business. But I really cant. Its just not my nature. Im not looking for trouble but when I see stuff like that I really cant keep silent. It burns me when people dont say anything. Anyway, off to see the principal!
