Just got a phone call from my cousin Kevin the one with the Melanoma Cancer in his Liver.. His older brother Stevie has also recently been diagnosed with cancer of the liver as well...They are saying it is like a Spiderweb and has worked itself all the way through his liver before it was ever found Kevins mom stepdad & sister drove to Texas over the weekend and Stevie has been moved back home from the hospital and has been put on Hospice.. The doctors are saying it could be 2 days to 2 weeks..He is so sedated with Morphine that he hasnt been able to wake up enough to know that his parents and sister are there with him.. Kevin is checking prices on trying to get a last minute flight out and or rent a car so he can pick Stevies oldest son Adam up to take him down with him Just totally breaking my heart for this family with both sons with Liver Cancer one at deaths door and the other trying his best to stay alive on experimental treatments Asking my friends and family to pray for all of them..this is such a horrible time for them and they can use all the prayers they can get right now.. Pretty scared as Kevin was due to start another round of treatment starting Monday but he is choosing to walk away from it so he can be with his big brother and the rest of family .. I cant say I blame him as I would make the same choice were it one of my siblings ..But I am still scared for him to prolong his own teatments for any length of time..He just finished a round and had his CT Scans today and was supposed to start back up Monday for another round.. So sad right now I can barely breathe..
