Just got back from Evanston . It is a place Wayne and I visited many times during the year. Barnes and Noble was his favorite. He would go there with out me if I couldnt join him. When we were there together, he would call me over to see some book that was of interest to me or one that held a topic he enjoyed exploring. We would have coffee there and spend quality time. Today, I went there alone for the first time. Just to capture the feeling of what was a constant in our life. Very grey skies and cold day didnt help lift my feelings in any way. Wandered over to ANDYS custard. He could never pass this place without going in to get something. He would look up at the various flavors and ponder, letting others go in front of him. Sometimes you could see the servers wondering what he would finally choose....and it was always....VANILLA! . In the summer the people spilled out to the street where they open the out door seating....and Wayne loved that because it reminded him of Paris. Today I was all alone there. I looked at the selections and after about a minute I ordered.......VANILLA! Another first for me of many firsts since we are not together. I love you Wayne and miss you........ r
