Just got back from NYC! Had a fantastic time! Very easy to get around. Covered a lot. Statue of Liberty where we were interviewed for local TV about the mayor re-opening it, Grand Central - loved the architecture, Central Park, Library - couldnt go in cuz of private party going on. SoHo, Greenwich where we ate in a pub right next to a film shoot of Annie with Denzel, Will Smith & Jamie Foxx - didnt see em but fun film crew, Mile Walk in the meat packing district where I spoke with Ty Pennington from Extreme Home Makeover & Thanked him for making a difference & he shook my hand & said my words meant a lot to him., Metropolitan Museum, Guggenheim closed for renovation, saw Book of Mormon & Wicked, ate my way through NY & gained some weight, bought things from the street vendors, Wall Street Bull & 9/11 memorial. Great subway system - easy to get around once you know what one to take. Cops on every corner very nice & informative, Times Square too much fun. Loved the hunka, hunka in underwear, cowboy boots & hat strumming his guitar for tips, and etc., etc., etc. Im sure Im leaving out an adventure or two. Tired & pics to come.
