Just got back from Orlando, Florida was a seminar speaker for the National Council of Pastors & Elders for The Church of God in Christ Inc., Should the Pre-Civil Rights legacy from 1894-1955 of Bishop Charles Harrison Mason founder of the Church of God in Christ be acknowledged by the world and the Nobel Peace Prize community as African Americans like Martin or Mandela? This is the 50th Year anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement in America yet the name Mason is unsung among great African American leaders like Martin and Mandela why? President Woodrow Wilson was given the Nobel Peace Prize in 1917 for his assisting with the Treaty of Versailles ending World War I, but while President Wilson promoted peace internationally, he imprisoned many Americans for their freedom of speech and for their religious liberty. Bishop Charles Harrison Mason telegram the President in 1917 requesting religious exemption surrounding the War, but Mason placed on trial and prosecuted by the FBI. Bishop Charles Harrison Mason was one of the first to stand for the purity of the Constitution of the United States even when President Wilson created laws violating the Constitution that Congress had to rescind four years later because it violated religious liberty and freedom of speech in America.
