Just got back from an awesome sighting! Earlier I was standing on our porch and heard a pig squealing rather close to the lodge. I knew it was being hunted by something. It was one of three predators...male lions, lionesses or leopard. The lions were spotted earlier today in our area. We jumped in the game viewer and headed off in the direction where the sound came from. We went up the road toward our vulture restaurant and after listening for awhile heard the crunching of bones. We saw them and soon enough heard them growling and fighting for a share of the pig. Wow! It was so exciting to be so close to these 3 lions! At the same time very nerve wrecking. But they were too busy munching away. Great stuff!! Who is jealous???
