Just got back from being with Mom and Dad. I had a very long talk to Dad today went through 3 tissues. As I sat there a dragon fly flew up and sat on a tree branch next to the bench I was sitting on. If another one came by it flew off and chased it away and came back to the branch and I would wait until it came back as if it was listening to me. I then went to see my Mom and sadly I feel like she is slowly slipping away. I asked my Dad to embrace her and give her the strength to go on and not give up yet. As sad as all this is I am blessed to have the memories of my life with my Dad, and the best Husband whom is also a fantastic Father. Mothers day and Fathers day is difficult for Scott and Fathers day is difficult for me but we are always there for each others loss, speaking of all our memories instead of the sadness. Thank you Scotty for being the best. Happy Fathers day
